Frequently asked questions
Thinking about CSSM-Training in Miracles but still have questions? You’re not alone.
Here are some of the questions we hear most often.
1. I’m too busy. How could I possibly fit CSSM in?
We get it — life is busy!
CSSM is designed as a part-time school, so you can study alongside work, family, church and everyday life.
Our main teaching takes place on Thursday evenings, 7–10pm, and you can join either in person or online.
There are also some Saturdays during the year, including activations, away days and outreaches.
It is a commitment, but we’ve designed the programme to be achievable alongside a normal busy life.
2. I don’t think I can fit the homework in!
You don’t need to be a full-time student to do CSSM.
There are two homework pathways: a reflective stream and an applied stream. This gives you some flexibility in how you engage with the material.
You can also use audio versions of books and Bible reading, and homework can be submitted as an audio file.
If you have particular circumstances that make the usual requirements difficult, we can also look at individual learning plans.
The question isn’t whether you have loads of spare time — it’s whether you’re willing to make some intentional space to grow.
3. How much does CSSM cost?
For 2026/27, the Thursday evening course costs:
-
£495 for in-person
-
£545 for online/hybrid
-
£50 application fee, which is credited towards your fees if you are accepted
There is also a £50 discount for 18–25-year-olds.
Payment plans may be available, and a small number of means-tested sponsorships are available for those who meet the criteria.
Your tuition includes the Thursday evenings, outreaches, away days and whole-school mission day.
Books, travel, accommodation and optional mission trips are additional costs.
4. Is CSSM worth the commitment?
Only you can decide whether CSSM is the right commitment for you.
What we can say is that CSSM is about much more than attending a weekly class.
You’ll have opportunities to learn, encounter God, practise what you’re learning and grow alongside other people.
The programme covers areas such as identity, hearing God, healing, prophecy, seeing in the spirit, spiritual gifts, evangelism and Kingdom living.
The aim is not simply to give you more information, but to help you live out what you’re learning in everyday life.
5. Do I have to do outreaches?
Yes. Outreaches are an important part of CSSM.
For 2026/27, students are required to complete at least four outreaches during the year.
Why?
Because we don’t just want you to learn about the supernatural — we want to help you put it into practice.
Outreaches give you opportunities to step out, pray for people, share your faith and learn in a practical environment.
You don’t have to feel confident before you start. CSSM is a place to learn and grow.
6. Do I need previous experience in the supernatural?
No!
You don’t need any previous experience with healing, prophecy or supernatural ministry.
Whether you’re completely new to this or already have experience, CSSM is designed to help you develop and grow.
You don’t have to arrive knowing what you’re doing.
You just need to come ready to learn.
7. What if I’m nervous about praying for people?
That’s completely normal.
CSSM is designed to be a safe environment where you can learn, practise and grow together.
You won’t be expected to have everything figured out from the beginning.
As you learn, you’ll have opportunities to step out and put things into practice with the support of the CSSM community.
Sometimes growth begins with simply being willing to have a go.
8. Do I have to attend in person?
No.
The Thursday evening programme is available in person in Bradford or online/hybrid.
The online option means you can take part even if travelling to Bradford every week isn’t practical.
Some activities, such as particular outreaches and activation days, may require you to participate in person.
8. I live a long way from Bradford. Can I still do CSSM?
Absolutely.
The online/hybrid option makes CSSM accessible wherever you live.
If you do travel a significant distance to attend in person, accommodation may also be available on some occasions.
If distance is your main concern, get in touch and we’ll be happy to talk through your options.
9. What if I can’t afford the fees?
Please don’t assume that finances automatically rule you out.
We offer payment options, and a small number of means-tested sponsorships are available for people on low incomes or benefits.
There are also discounts available for 18–25-year-olds.
If finances are a concern, talk to us about your circumstances.
10. Do I have to go on a mission trip?
No.
Mission trips are optional and are an additional cost.
We do recommend that students consider taking part in at least one during their time at CSSM, as they provide another opportunity to put your learning into practice in a different context.
11. What happens on a typical Thursday evening?
Thursday evenings combine teaching, worship, activation and community.
You’ll have opportunities to learn biblical foundations, encounter God and practise what you are learning.
It’s not simply about sitting and listening — there is an emphasis on participation and activation.
12. What will I actually learn?
CSSM covers a wide range of topics, including:
-
Identity and sonship
-
The presence of God
-
Hearing God’s voice
-
Healing and miracles
-
Prophecy
-
Words of knowledge
-
Signs and wonders
-
Seeing in the Spirit
-
Spiritual gifts
-
Deliverance
-
Revival and revival history
-
Evangelism and mission
-
Brave communication
- and so much more……
The prophetic pathway also develops through Foundation, Formation and Masterclass, allowing students to grow progressively in maturity, discernment and responsibility.
13. Is CSSM just for people who want to become church leaders?
No.
CSSM is for people who want to grow in their relationship with God and learn to live out their faith in everyday life.
That might mean your family, workplace, church, community or ministry.
You don’t need to have a leadership position or be looking for one.
14. What if I’m already part of another church?
That’s absolutely fine.
CSSM welcomes people from different churches, backgrounds and levels of experience.
Our desire is to help you grow in your relationship with God and equip you to take what you learn back into your own church and community.
What if I’m not sure CSSM is for me?
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you apply.
Perhaps you’re asking:
“Is there more?”
“How can I hear God more clearly?”
“How do I become more confident praying for people?”
“What are my spiritual gifts?”
“How do I move from simply learning about the Kingdom to actually living it?”
If those questions resonate with you, we’d love to help you explore whether CSSM could be the right next step.
15. What is the overall commitment?
The main commitment is Thursday evenings, 7–10pm, alongside the wider programme.
During the year you’ll also have:
-
Homework and Bible reading
-
At least four outreaches
-
Saturday activations
-
Two away days
-
A whole-school mission day
There are also optional opportunities, such as mission trips.
We want you to know the commitment before you apply, so you can make an informed decision about whether CSSM fits your current season of life.
16. What if I miss a session?
Regular attendance is important because CSSM combines teaching, activation, community and practical experience.
If you already know that your circumstances could make regular attendance difficult, talk to us before applying. We can discuss your situation and explain what flexibility may be available.
17. What are we really trying to develop through CSSM?
At the heart of CSSM are four values:
Presence. People. Kingdom. Reformation.
We want to help people grow in their relationship with God, develop healthy relationships, discover their identity and spiritual gifts, and become people who bring Kingdom influence into their everyday lives.
Ultimately, CSSM isn’t just about completing a course.
It’s about becoming more confident in who God has made you to be and learning to live that out wherever God has placed you.
